Federer beat Djokovic in stragiht sets at the US Open this evening. After being threatened by Djokovic early in the match, Federer showed why he was Number 1 in Men’s Tennis by consistently hammering the ball. With 12 Aces, a couple of small faults and a lot of points, Federer slowly won over the crowd in Forest Hills, that was cheering the young underdog from Serbia.

4th Consecutive US Open in straight sets. 12th Grand Slam title.

Tennis247 got to the Open in time last night to watch Blake fight it out with Fabrice Santoro. It was, A GREAT MATCH.

Unfortuantely for the winner and his cheering section (not exactly the silent-types… ), MagnificentBastard has taken him to task for his non-too-stylish appearance, while praising Santoro for his old-school/classic look.
